Playing searing Texas style blues in the mold of Albert Collins, Freddie King and SRV. This Austin guitarist has jammed at the juke joints of Texas, the US and internationally, opening for acts such as Buddy Guy & Junior Wells and Albert Collins.

In the late 80's and early 90's stints with renowned Austinite Walter T. Higgs and Dallas' Self Righteous Blues Band established Robbie on the blues circuit. Former members of Live Wire includes Keith Ferguson (bass player of the Fabulous Thunderbirds) Freddie Pharaoh, Uncle John Turner(Johnny Winter drums) and Lil' Calvin, Jeff Hodges (vocals and drums). This blues trio current features Christian Gonzalez on drums, Lance Bennet on harp and Letty Anderson on bass.
